Our Instructional Model for Teaching and Learning (MAPS) at Lilydale Heights College encompasses our commitment to academic excellence. It seamlessly integrates both general and subject-specific high-impact teaching and learning strategies, which are part of a shared and responsive teaching and learning model. Our model fosters positive and supportive relationships between students and staff, creating an environment that nurtures not only academic growth but personal development and wellbeing. We place a strong emphasis on systematic assessment strategies and measurement practices, providing us with the means to consistently evaluate and improve student learning growth, achievements, and overall wellbeing.
Our Instructional Model aims to meet students at their point of need and is informed by the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model 2.0, Developmental Assessment, Learning Pathways and our Whole School Approach to Engagement and Wellbeing.
