Careers & Pathways

At Lilydale Heights College, we place great importance on careers education and future pathways as an integral aspect of secondary education. Our goal is to help students gain a deeper understanding of themselves and the ever-evolving world of work, facilitating meaningful connections between the two. To achieve this, we are proud to have a dedicated Careers and Pathways team.

Our Year 9 students utilise Morrisby Online, a platform that provides valuable insights into individual strengths and potential. It offers tailored career suggestions and pathways that align with each student’s unique profile. In Year 10, our Work Experience program provides students with an opportunity to experience various career pathways, aiding students in making informed decisions for their final years of study.

Our Careers Practitioner collaborates with students, parents, and the wider community to create a comprehensive careers education and pathways program. Specifically, students in Years 10 through 12 benefit from personalised counselling and the opportunity to explore universities and TAFE Colleges in local and city areas.

Our commitment to fostering students’ career development and pathways is further exemplified by the creation of individualised Careers Action Plans for all students.
