Your new password must comply with the Lilydale heights College password policy:

If you have Windows computer supplied by the College


Take a few simple steps only when you are at the College and connected to the network. Do not do this at home. Do not warry if your password expires before you can access the school network. You can change it on your first day at the College.
View the Password Policy.

  1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, and then click Change a password.
  2. Type your old password followed by a new password as indicated, and then type the new password again to confirm it.
  3. Press Enter.

If you have MacBook computer supplied by the College


Take a few simple steps only when you are at the College and connected to the network. Do not do this at home. Do not warry if your password expires before you can access the school network. You can change it on your first day at the College.
View the Password Policy.

  1. Click on the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen and select System Preferences from the drop down menu.
  2. Click on Users & Groups, select your account and password tab on the right side.
  3. Click Change Password.
  4. Type your old password followed by a new password as indicated, and then type the new password again to confirm it. Type password hint (optional).
  5. Click Change Password / Press Enter.
  6. Close System Preferences.

If you have one of four Windows computer managed by the DET (Administrative Network – EDU001)


Take a few simple steps when you are at the College or at home and you have internet connection.
View the Password Policy.

  1. Go to https://passcore.lilydaleheights.vic.edu.au/
  2. Type your current password followed by a new password as indicated, and then type the new password again to confirm it.
  3. Click Change Password.

Additional steps to update the school password on your admin desktop (This can be done at the College only or through remote access to your admin desktop):

  1. Go to drive U:\
  2. Locate file AdminMapper.ps1, right click it and select Run with PowerShell.
  3. If asked about changing the script execution policy, type Y (Yes) and press Enter.
  4. When prompted, type your DET Staff ID (e.g. 01234567) without any prefix (curric or edu001) and the new school password.
  5. Click Ok / Press Enter.

Note: If you read this instruction, do not use Ctrl+Alt+Delete method on your desktop because it will change your DET/eduMail password but not the school one.

If you have a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)


Take a few simple steps when you are at the College or at home and you have internet connection.
View the Password Policy.

  1. Go to https://passcore.lilydaleheights.vic.edu.au/.
  2. Type your current password followed by a new password as indicated, and then type the new password again to confirm it.
  3. Click Change Password.

Additional steps to update the school password on your BYOD.

  1. Go to https://byod.lilydaleheights.vic.edu.au.
  2. Sign in using your new school password.
  3. Accept terms and conditions.
  4. Select Option I have changed my school password and click Configure My PC/MacBook/iPad.
  5. Download and run the BYOD configuration utility. Follow screen instructions.
