The Middle School Outdoor Ed class again had the opportunity to combine theory content with practical experiences

On Thursday 20th May, we were very nervous as the clouds rolled in and out throughout the day.

Yes! Our practical events for our new groups got underway on Thursday 29th April, when over 45 students between all of the 4 levels of Award groups worked their way around different routes around Lilydale.

I wanted to send my congratulations to the students for their efforts during this exploration, as well as for their efforts with their Award over the last year.

The Middle School Outdoor Education class were again getting active outdoors on March 18.

Well done to all of the students who ventured out on our explorations this past weekend.

Well done to all our students on their weekend hike held earlier this month; they ended up walking over 50km for the whole weekend with their back packs; walking up and down over difficult terrains and river crossings.

This week our Middle School Outdoor Education class has been busy spending time outside experiencing a range of tasks to support their in-class learning.

Congratulations go Liam Weir, Jack McVay and Thomas Burgess for completing their Bronze Award.

It was a special day on Friday 4th December - it was the first time all year for our current Silver and Gold groups to meet and complete some training.

The students had very warm conditions to add to their challenges for the day, but they did not complain.
