An early finish to Interschool Sport this year, with the cancellation for the remainder of the year of any previously scheduled Yarra District, Eastern Metropolitan District and State Sports events.

Our students in the Award Program have continued to persevere and explore the outdoors near them.

Welcome to Spring! As the days slowly grow longer and we begin to feel energetic we know it’s time to venture outside and enjoy the warmth.

Year 7 and 8 students were given a 3D Challenge to create their favourite Hiragana character or word from items they can find at home.

The Building Works that are a part of the Lilydale District and Yarra Valley Education Plan have been progressing as planned for the staged upgrading of facilities at Lilydale Heights College.

7C students have been making fruit kebabs at home as part of a Common Assessment Task. Part of the brief was to research attractive ways to cut and present the kebabs. I think Michaela and Ivy both have bright futures as food stylists!

In Fibres and Fabrics class we have been looking at the problem of fast fashion.

Welcome to the end of August and the beginning of spring. The days are getting longer and the weather warmer. I hope that all members of our community have been able to get outside and enjoy this special time of year.
