Principal's Report - Sep '19

Learning focus has been clearly placed on improving learning outcomes in the classroom. Students have been completing Progression Tasks and Common Assessment Task across all subject areas.

Middle School Japanese - Sep '19

Congratulations to the Middle School Japanese class who visited Lilydale Primary School this week to run a lesson in Japanese with the Grade 3 and 4 students.

Nursing Home Visit

Well done to all the SIRC members for the visit they made to Lilydale Aged Care

Casual Dress Day Donation

Thank you to everyone who donated during the Term 2 casual dress day. This money was used to purchase books for Dixons Creek Primary school.

Principal's Report - August '19

Term 3 has an uninterrupted focus on teaching and learning. Students are busy in all classes where teachers are actively involved in challenging their learning and developing environment, where students are encouraged to extend themselves.

National Schools Tree Day

This year we had a group of Year 7 students participate in Tree Day. Under instruction from the Sustainability Team, we planted native trees, shrubs and grasses in the indoor/outdoor classroom between H-wing and the Gym.

The end of semester has come around very quickly and the winter months have set in. The College remains a very busy place in the lead up to the mid-year break.

Museum Day

Well done to all year 7 and 8 Humanities students on their work and conduct during Museum Day. The standard of work was very high.

Our School Zone

Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at the College. However, students living outside of this zone may also express their interest.

Principal's Report - May '19

Year 7 and 9 students have just completed their NAPLAN testing for this school year. This year NAPLAN was completed online. Although there were some minor hiccups on day one, the system worked efficiently and all testing was completed smoothly.

Mothers Day 2019

A very big thankyou to the Café Students who ran excellent Mother’s day events last week. They did an exceptional job in both Front and back of house positions and their attitudes were amazing. Well done!
