In Year 7 Science, students learned about the many different machines that have been developed through the centuries that make less work for us. This week students have been challenged to create a Rube Goldberg Machine.

Year 7's recently made apple turnovers and are doing so well since they have been back at school.

Well done to the Middle School Japanese class who did a fantastic job of their learning this term. Students studied about people/fashion and houses in Japan. The quality of their CAT submissions was fantastic. Keep up the great work in Semester 2 everyone!

Our Year 8 Science classes have been working on some studies investigating our body systems.

As part of our Food Unit, we held a 'DIY Cup Noodles' in class. Students learned how to hold and use Ohashi (chopsticks).

The 8E SELF class recently completed a task to build on team work and leadership skills.

Students in Year 7 learned about 'Onigiri', one of the most popular snacks in Japan.

In week 4 Japanese students from Year 7, 8 and Middle School participated in a Taiko Workshop with Kiyomi-Sensei.

In Term 4 Science, students undertake a unit of Biology focussing on classification and ecology. As part of this curriculum, we undertook an excursion to Healesville Sanctuary.

It’s been an exciting year introducing Auslan into the Middle School curriculum and it’s been an absolute pleasure watching the students develop their skills so quickly and enthusiastically.
