Students participating in the Café Culture course have just completed a week on coffee extraction and a week on milk texturing. Over the next couple of weeks they will be putting the two together to create a range of coffee’s. Last year we needed to charge $1.00 per coffee to cover our costs and this will carry over for this year. Please understand that the coffee may not be absolutely fantastic while they are learning and we would appreciate some feedback.
Jesse Culhane is running Jesse’s café on a Friday at lunchtime for staff. He has become very good at coffee making and is doing a wonderful job running his own little café. It would be terrific if staff could continue to support him with this. A donation will be made to Canteen.
Visiting Local Cafes
Students completed their visits to local Cafes where they undertook the collection of data to complete their CAT. A big thanks to all the participating Cafes for their assistance and well done to the students who behaved in an exemplary fashion.
