Compass and Duke of Ed Award Kayaking and Celebration afternoon at Lilydale Lake

Well done to all our award students who attended the celebration and social afternoon. There was a variety of students across the year levels from year 7 to year 11. They all worked together playing games, being really positive, supportive and they just enjoyed having the opportunity to have some fun kayaking on the lake.

After the kayaking we celebrated the achievements of all our award groups. Please see the photos of the Level 3, Level 4, Bronze and Silver Award groups – all making tremendous achievements.

I would also like to say many thanks to Michelle Gaudion for coming out and helping with the kayaking activity; the kids loved seeing her on the water. And to Anne Wilkins for cooking the BBQ, great to have after the kayaking and warm us up.

Thanks to all the staff who have supported our programme over the year and we look forward to further developments in 2019.
