Throughout the last few weeks of the year, each of the year 10 students worked on a variety of fundraisers within their SELF classes.

All of the money raised from each of these fundraisers was used to purchase gifts for the Kmart Wishing Tree.

The fundraisers ranged from selling lolly bags, and playing bubble soccer, to watching an episode of a show in the PAC, and even throwing shaving cream pies at teachers and staff!

As a year level the year 10 students raised $256. The year 9, 10 Money Matters class also contributed to this and donated $200 from their efforts on Market Day.

All of the money raised was split between the three SELF classes and then between groups of students to decide on gifts for a specific age group.

Each gift that was purchased by the students was placed under the Wishing Tree. These gifts are to be sent to families and children who are less fortunate and are unable to purchase presents themselves.
