The Sustainability Team would like to thank all students, staff, parents and community members who participated in the Recycling Competition this term.
It has been a very busy term with a full fixture completed for Interschool Sports as well as the whole College Athletics Carnival and the Yarra Group Cross Country.
The Middle School Kitchen Garden class has completed an excellent semester. The amount of garden space has increased and we have tried growing a wider variety of plants, including edible flowers which have been used by the Café.
The past term, a bunch of Year 7’s that chose soccer as their Term 2 sport, have been training together, working on our skills and getting to know the team.
On Monday May 2, I was honoured to welcome the daughter of the founding Principal of the school (Barrie Johnson) and the founding Vice Principal (John Fisher) to the school.
This term students in Year 8 have been learning about the history of the Toyota company in Japan.
Congratulations to our Year 8 Boys and Girls and the Senior Girls Badminton teams who each won their Yarra Group Badminton competitions and who will now be representing the College and the Yarra Group in the Eastern Metropolitan Region competition next term.
Our Silver Award students were full of excitement when completing our exploration earlier this month.
On the 5th of May, I competed in the Yarra Valley School Annual Clay Target Championship.
On Friday 6th May we took 35 students to Lilydale Lake for Yarra Group Cross Country.
