All Yarra Group Interschool Sports are completed by the start of Term 4, with all sports being played in Terms 1, 2 and 3. During Term 4 the Eastern Metropolitan Region events are held for the Junior and Intermediate events held earlier in the year. Lilydale Heights is involved in seven of these events, including Basketball, Softball, Baseball, Table Tennis and Basketball.
The College also sent a number of students to participate in the Yarra District Athletics Carnival. A special mention to Jake Angus who got a Bronze in the High Jump!
At this time of the year, we would like to say a big “Thank You” to our Year 12 House Captains who did a marvellous job during the Carnivals and who were once again able to participate and assist in Inter-school Sport during the year. Wishing you all the very best with your future endeavours and thank you for being House Captains this year and for most, being Vice-Captains in 2021, during such a tumultuous time.
